Visitors to Enigma Quests Holborn will stepping into an immersive story, taking the role of operatives for EQIC, an elite interstellar security agency. Escape Arcade® is basic training for all EQIC recruits, testing and developing the crucial skills they need across a range of simulations, while our Missions (Escape Rooms) are opportunities for operatives to prove themselves in the field.

Both our Escape Rooms and the Escape Arcade® will last for 60 minutes, with additional time for an introduction and debrief. We ask teams to arrive 15 minutes before their booked time to ensure they can enjoy their full hour.

We don't have a formal escape room age limit, though in our experience, children younger than 9 can struggle with the puzzles and story. We require all children aged 11 and under to be accompanied by and adult within the room itself. For children aged 12-15 we require an adult to be present on-site, but they can otherwise play the game unsupervised. Players aged 16 and up are welcome without an adult.

We strive to make all players welcome. Our venue is fully accessible with a lift connecting to the basement. While our escape rooms are fine for players with limited mobility, a few simulations within the Escape Arcade® are not. Please speak to a member of our team before playing, who'll be able to tell you the rooms to avoid. Our escape rooms are suitable for pregnant players (though we ask players of "World of Witchcraft and Wizardry" to let our team know ahead of time). The Escape Arcade® contains a mixture of physical and mental challenges, with our team able to point you towards the most suitable rooms in advance.
